The Gibson County Health Department is seeking volunteers willing to assist during a public health emergency. If an event occurred where a large number of people in Gibson County needed aid; the Health Department would need assistance to meet the increased demand for services.

Trained volunteers are a vital resource during any emergency situation. A public health emergency is no exception. Gibson County has many citizens who are talented and have a vast array of experience that would prove invaluable if an incident were to occur. Some tasks may include working as greeters, clerical staff, communication, language translation, directing traffic and education. We have volunteer opportunities for people with or without a medical background.

Volunteer applications are available for anyone over the age of 18 years who is interested in offering their talents and experience. Please contact Local Public Health Coordinator, at the Gibson County Health Department between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Health Department is located at 800 S. Prince St. in Princeton.
